1. Introduction
Slot Tech AI is an AI-powered troubleshooting assistant designed for casino slot machine technicians, operated by Prosperity Gaming Ltd, a company registered in Ireland ("we", "our", or "us"). Prosperity Gaming Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, and can be contacted at support@slot-bot.net. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and website.
By using Slot Tech AI you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the application.
2. Data We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide our service:
- Email address — collected at registration and used solely for authentication and account communications.
- Chat messages — the questions and technical queries you submit to the AI assistant, used to generate responses and improve service quality.
- Training & quiz progress — your scores, completed modules, and quiz results within the in-app learning features.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe (web subscriptions) or Apple / Google with RevenueCat (in-app subscriptions); we do not store card numbers or payment credentials on our servers.
We do not use cookies, advertising identifiers, or tracking / analytics SDKs in the app or on this website.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Slot Tech AI service. Specifically:
- Authenticating your account and managing your subscription.
- Processing your chat messages through AI language models (Anthropic Claude and OpenAI) to generate technical troubleshooting responses.
- Tracking your training progress and quiz performance within the app.
- Sending transactional emails related to your account (e.g. login codes, billing).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or any other commercial purpose.
Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6): we process your data on the basis of performance of a contract (providing the service you subscribe to, authentication, billing) and legitimate interests (service security, abuse prevention, and improving answer quality). We do not process data on the basis of consent for marketing, and we do not carry out automated decision-making with legal effects.
4. AI Processing
Chat messages are sent to third-party AI model providers to generate responses:
- Anthropic Claude — messages may be processed on Anthropic's infrastructure in accordance with Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
- OpenAI — messages may be processed on OpenAI's infrastructure in accordance with OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
We use API-tier access with both providers, which means your data is not used to train their public models by default.
5. Data Storage & Security
- Account and progress data is stored in a Neon PostgreSQL database hosted on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit.
- AI knowledge embeddings (used to power troubleshooting responses) are stored in Pinecone, a managed vector database service.
- Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor. We never store card details on our servers.
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and access controls on our databases.
5a. Processors & International Transfers
We use the following service providers ("processors") to operate Slot Tech AI. Some are located in, or process data in, the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, transfers rely on the providers' EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or their certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework:
- Neon (US) — application database (account, chat, progress data).
- Anthropic and OpenAI (US) — AI processing of chat messages (API tier; not used to train public models by default).
- Pinecone (US) — vector search over our technical documentation (not your personal data).
- Stripe (US/EU) — web subscription payments.
- RevenueCat (US) — in-app subscription status for App Store / Google Play purchases.
- Resend (US) — transactional email (sign-in codes).
- Vercel (US/EU) — application hosting and request logs.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account or request data deletion (see Section 7), we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.
7. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format (data portability).
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
You can delete your account and all associated data yourself at any time, either in-app (Settings → Delete Account) or on the web at slot-bot.net/delete-account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
To exercise any other right, please email us at support@slot-bot.net. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority (in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission — dataprotection.ie).
8. Children's Privacy
Slot Tech AI is intended for professional use by adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
